My name is Sarah McCullough, I am a Lancaster County native born and raised. I recently graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg campus with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. My interest in law piqued during several courses during my duration of undergraduate studies. Specifically, the intersection of psychology and criminality when looking at recidivism rates, gender differences in offending and the socioeconomic connection between those factors.
To foster a better understanding of these elements outside of classroom study and before pursuing law school, I wanted to gain firsthand experience working with an Attorney and firm that thoroughly evaluated these aspects of criminality and offending with their clients, rather than just viewing someone as a number or merely what they are accused of on a snap judgement. More specifically, I am learning to directly assist Attorney Styer with our pardon and expungement area of casework to assist clients looking to clean up their records while gaining knowledge on the process of these cases within Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my golden retriever Misty, hiking, weightlifting, traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to growing a more comprehensive understanding of the criminal defense side of law here in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
